FAQ
Good questions.
What is Arsenal?
Arsenal is a set of small tools for everyday work: calculators, quick references and checklists. Each one does one job, shows its assumptions and tells you when to check with a qualified person. Arsenal is made by Speedloop Technologies, the team behind Maverick.
What is the difference between Crew and Labs?
Arsenal - Crew is for people who work on site or on the road: carpenters, electricians, plumbers, operators, drivers, technicians and farmers. Arsenal - Labs is for people who plan and analyse: engineers, scientists, analysts, planners, estimators and managers. Both use the same tools underneath, so pick the door that sounds like your day.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free tools. Open one and press the button. You need an account for paid tools, so we know what you have unlocked.
How much does it cost?
Many tools are free. Paid tools can be unlocked one at a time, in a pack for your line of work, or for a whole industry, and a few are bought once and kept. You see every price on the Billing page after you sign up, before you pay anything.
How do I pay?
With PayPal, on PayPal's own page. Arsenal never sees your card. Monthly items pay for one month at a time and do not renew by themselves, so nothing is charged unless you choose to pay again.
Can I trust the numbers?
Every tool shows the formula's assumptions and limits next to the result. They are planning aids: codes, engineers, manufacturers and your own measurements have the last word.
Is this the same as the Toolkits in Maverick?
Yes. Arsenal and the Toolkits inside the Maverick Console share one catalogue, so a tool fixed or added for one is fixed or added for both. An Arsenal account is a personal account: it does not open any Maverick workspace.
Who are Love, Hate and Mav?
The TRINITY mascots of Speedloop Technologies. Love cheers you on, Hate questions every number, and Mav, the clever machine in the middle, does the maths.
